Harriet Sissy Grisham Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harriet Sissy Grisham of Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jennings Lowber and Rebecca Woods Lowber; her brother Harry; her son Craig; and her husband Chester.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Grisham (Christy) of Coldwater, MS and Ashley Grisham of Birmingham, AL; and her grandchildren, Rebekah, Anna Grace and Daniel Grisham. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dumas Baptist Church (3390 MS-370, Dumas, MS 38625). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Shades Mountain Baptist Church (2017 Columbiana Rd, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216).
In lieu of flowers, any charitable donations can be made to one of Mom's favorite charities: --St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, --Samaritan's Purse, --Gideon's International.
