It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gussie Burton Mills (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Clarendon, Texas, who passed away on March 8, 2019, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, William Jake Freeman and John H Mills. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Freeman Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida and John H. MIlls, Jr. (Betty) of Seattle, Wash; her grandchildren, Andrew Kennedy (Shauna) of Peachtree City, Louisa Kennedy of Florence, AL and April Mills (Adam Carlson) of Seattle, Washington; her great grandchildren, Luke Patterson Kennedy of Peachtree City, GA and Rowan Mills Carlson of Seattle, Washington; and her siblings, Iva Jewel Tucker of Birmingham and Charles Emory Burton (Dorothy) of Dallas.
