It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenn Merriam (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Merriam and Leona Merriam; and his son Joey. He is survived by: his wife Esther; his daughters, Edie Irvin (Lemond) and Suzette Foster (Keith); his grandchildren, Andrea Singleton, Will Irvin, Merriam Mock and J. T. Foster; and his great grandchildren, Wilder and Brandt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Glenn's memory to the Gary Sinise Foundation or another worthy charity of your choosing which supports veterans and their families; or to Hunter Street Baptist Church.
