It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Green of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Oakman, Alabama, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank. She is survived by: her sister Mary Elizabeth Swindle Laurent of Parrish, Alabama; her son Wilson Franklin Green (Amanda Adams) of Tuscaloosa; her grandchildren, Amelia Herren Green of New York, Olivia Read Green of New York and Wilson Franklin Green Jr. of Montgomery; her stepgrandchildren, Margaret Elizabeth Lynn Schedler and Lukas August Eduard Schedler of Birmingham; and her friend Bill S. Wynn of Birmingham.
There will be a private interment, but there will be no funeral service at this time due to the ongoing pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Music Discretionary Fund of the Cathedral Church of the Advent (Episcopal), 2017 Sixth Avenue North, Birmingham, Alabama 35203.
