He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. H. McMillan Sr. and Jean Autrey McMillan; and his brother Bill McMillan. He is survived by: his wife Ann Dial McMillan; his children, George D. H. McMillan III (Meredith Carlisle McMillan) of Birmingham and Ann Dial McMillan Sims (William Comer Sims) of Asheville, NC; his granddaughters, Louise Dial Sims and Evelyn Ann Sims; his brother Autrey McMillan; his nephews, Autrey McMillan, Jr. (Chandi), Shane McMillan (Sara), Bill McMillan, Jr. and Matthew McMillan; his sister-in-law Becky Warner; and his niece Rebecca Strang (Rob).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (1016 19th St S, Birmingham, AL 35205). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
