She was predeceased by: her husband Badie George Salem; and her parent Tata Tata (Arabic). She is survived by: her children, George Badie Salem (Melaine), Emeel Badie Salem (Jenny), Augusta Salem Dowd (David) and Victor Badie Salem; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Abby (Billy), Emeel (Carrie), Tripp (Lindsey), Bevan (Lane), Grace (Emily) and David (Nancy); her great grandchildren, Asher, Thomas, Clarke, Hawkins, Jack, Griffin and Sylvie; and her brother Salim Ibrahim Zabaneh (Hiyah). She is also survived by her deeply-loved Texas nieces.
