He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Dobbs and Mildred Sue Pegues Dobbs. He is survived by: his wife Susan Roberts Dobbs; his children, Ashley Tolbert (Nick), Whitney Marcum (Lee) and Ryan Dobbs (Samantha); his grandchildren, Nella Sue Tolbert, Tula Mae Tolbert and Mika Lee "Tripp" Marcum, III; and his brother Greg Dobbs (Paula).
