He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Coleman and Nancy Coleman; and his siblings, Jean Baker, Lewis Coleman, William "Billy" Coleman, Stanford Coleman and David Coleman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lillian Tillman, Laura Roberts of California and Jerry Coleman of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
