She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frances McNeil Newman and Henry Hardin "Zipp" Newman; her sister Meredith Newman Looney; her husband Walter Fowlkes Morris; her children, Walter Morris Jr. (Cory), Henry Hardin Morris (Betsy), Francie Morris Deaton (Ogden) and Duncan Taylor Morris; her grandchildren, Frances Newman Deaton, John Hardin Morris, Ogden Shropshire Deaton, Jr. (Taylor Anne), Ann Hollon Morris Schaffeld (Thomas), Henry Haynes Morris, Carolyn Morris Collier (Forrest), Walter Tucker Deaton, Caroline Wakefield Morris, Duncan Taylor Morris, Jr., Walter Fowlkes Morris III, Taylor Lee Morris, Frances Louise Morris and John Fowlkes Morris; and her great grandchild Nancy Ellen Schaffeld. She was also cherished by Her many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
