Frances Lindsey Ruth Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Lindsey Ruth of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Leon Ruth III; her parents, Martin Jefferson Lindsey and Frances Mae Harrington; and her brothers, Terrell Haywood Lindsey and Ernest Jefferson Lindsey.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lindsey Ruth Barclift (Bill) and Sandra Leigh Ruth; her grandchildren, Mary Frances Osborn of Birmingham and Will Barclift (Samantha Oliver) of Tyron; and her great grandchildren, Mary Tristen Osborn and Layton Edward Osborn of Birmingham.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial gifts be made to St. John's Episcopal Church in Montgomery, Auburn University or to one's favorite charity.
