It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Elizabeth Lewis of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Angel Lewis Ledbetter; and her parents, William Cecil McGathy and Marguerite Juanita Morris McGathy. She is survived by: her husband Felix "Eddie" Lewis Jr.; her daughters, Pamela Lewis Teer (Paul Teer) and Patricia "Renee" Lewis Turner (Mark Turner); her grandchildren, Morgan Ledbetter Everett (Joey Everett), Amber Ledbetter-Phillips, Colby Ledbetter, Faith Spruell McCowan (Dustin McCowan), Haley Spruell Gilleylen (Aaron Gilleylen), Madison Spruell, Mark Allen Turner (Alissa Turner), Alex Teer, Jacob Teer and Kimberly Teer Seyrek-York (Bryli Seyrek-York); and her great grandchildren, Landon, Bentley, Kensley of Karlee, JJ, Axton, Laila, Mallorie, Millie, Cameron, Payton and Emma Grace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
