She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Weatherly and Vannie Mae Weatherly; and her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Alexander, Catherine Thomas, Anna Louise Williams, Murray Weatherly Jr., Berry Weatherly and Morris Weatherly.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Cowan (Josephine), Evelyn Johnson (Glenn), Willa Davis, Clifford Ann Smith (Mike), Edward Maddox, Marie Taylor and Leddie Weststone; her sister-in-law Amanda Weatherly; and her caregivers, Compassus, Christine Wells, Debra Fisher and Akia McCurdy. She is also survived by the children, grand children and great grand children.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (318 Jefferson Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35217). A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
