Emmett Gaskin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2022, at the age of 76, Emmett Gaskin (Birmingham, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Allen Gaskin, Jr. and Chita Smith Gaskin; and his brother James McCune Gaskin. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Allen Gaskin, III and Chita Gaskin Middleton; his sister-in-law Amy Hilyer Gaskin; his nephew Alan Campbell Gaskin; and his nieces, Chita Smith Middleton, Edith Ashley Middleton, Emily Hilyer Gaskin and Mary Beasley Gaskin.
In lieu of flowers, water your plants and garden and think of Emmett. Contributions may be made to Emmett's favorite charities which are: Public Radio WBHM 90.3, Alabama Public Television, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Forever Wild Alabama, c/o Nature Conservancy of Alabama or 1917 Clinic At UAB.
