With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma L. Simmons (Birmingham, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Emma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Emma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Payne Chapel A. M. E. Church (1825 Center Way S, Birmingham, AL 35205). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115). Face Mask and Social Distancing required.
