She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sydney and Emma Olivia Cloud Brookens; her spouse Leenell Bailey; and her brothers, Joseph S. Brookens Jr., Victor E. Brookens Sr. and Paul L. Brookens.
She is survived by: her sister Alma S. Brookens Murray; and her nieces and nephews, Charles O. Williams, Jr., Tina B. Johnson (Alfred), Emma Williams (Amelia), Joseph, Mark, Michael and Victor Jr.. She is also survived by many family members nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
