Edwina Faithe Stillings Obituary

She was predeceased by: her father Willie Edwin Jones; her grandparents, Edwina Gaines, Mamie Lyons and Robert Lyons; her brother Mark C. Brand; her uncle Robert C. Lyons Jr. (Junebug); her aunts, Anne Lyons Gates and Mattie Lyons Walker; and her cousins, Tammy Gaines and Janeese Amie Jackson.
She is survived by: her mother Iola Jackson Jones; her children, Joshua Stillings (LaShelta) and Meaghan Foy; her brother Chadwick Brand (Carla); her grandchildren, Andriquez Mosley Jr., Avionna Baker, Maliyah Mosley and Zahria Stillings; her nieces and nephews, Tiara Bell, Dejah Rhodes, Carlos Rhodes and Rashad Rhodes; her uncle Anthony Jackson; her aunts, Alice Miller and Peggy Lyons; and her close friends, Boris and RubyNell Jordan. She is also survived by cousins, friends, and co-workers.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kirksey's Mortuary (3500 Ave I, Birmingham, AL 35218).
She was a dedicated supporter of the Sickle Cell Foundation and the Annual Walk, in which she coordinated a team yearly to walk in honor of her niece, Janeese. She often commemorated Janeese's legacy by being among the top three donors of the Sickle Cell Foundation's annual Fundraising Walk.
