He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Patton and Mable Patton; and his siblings, Emmitt Patton, Marguerite Pennington, Robert Patton, Lillian Kitts, Betty McClure and Tom Patton.

He is survived by: his wife Eula; his children, Jerry Patton (Susan) of Chattanooga, TN, Carlene Rasberry (Bill) of Birmingham, AL and Marlene Dade of Hopkinsville, KY; and his brother James Patton (Jenny). He is also survived by his six grandchildren, and his three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frazer Church, 6000 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117.
