She was predeceased by: her parents, Kervin Dunn and Alma Dunn; and her children, Mary Jean Turnipseed of Montgomery, Helen Patricia Turnipseed of Macon, GA and Marion L. "Red" Turnipseed (Linda) of Clanton.
She is survived by: her children, James L. Turnipseed, Jr. (Lois) and Martha Shaw (Jim) of Birmingham; and her caregiver Dr. William Brannon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
