We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2018, Earnest Goodwin (Birmingham, Alabama), born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Creath Goodwin and Thelma Goodwin; his siblings, Betty Jo Mutz, Wilma Eisenback, Mary Lou Johnston and William Creath Goodwin Jr.; his daughter Denise Haverkamp; and his wife Barbara Goodwin.

He is survived by: his sister Ophelia Grimes; his children, Sheryl Heen (Bruce) and Duke Covey; and his grandchildren, Candace Soldano (Joe), Douglas Heen (Jodi) and Tim Whitaker. He is also survived by 5 nieces and 4 nephews.

In lieu of flowers please contribute to your favorite Veterans charity.
