It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dianne Benifield (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on November 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dianne Benifield to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hale and Idell Hale. She is survived by: her husband Waymon Benifield; her son Waymon Benifield II; her siblings, Edna J. Hale of Birmingham, AL, Myra Hale Walters (Roy Walters) and Ivin Hale of San Francisco, CA; and her cousin Lydell Cary Parker of Hoover, AL.

Due to the pandemic, graveside services will be held for the immediate family and special guests ONLY, while observing social distance restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in memory of Dianne Benifield, to Camp Fire Alabama (120 Oxmoor Blvd, Suite 110/Homewood, AL 35209), and/or New Community Baptist Church (6853 6th Court S. Birmingham, AL 35212) which sponsors the Annual Annie J. Benifield Oratorical and Scholarship Competition.
