He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford G. Battles and Gloria Cox Battles. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Alderson Battles; his children, Kevin Daniel Battles (Christina), Katie M. Fleming (Jeremy), Julie M. Dulaney (Michael) and Marina N. Saway (Mikael); his grandchildren, Isabella Fleming, Bryant Fleming, Bennett Fleming, Manley Fleming, Hayes Fleming, Maverick Fleming, Della Dulaney, Banks Saway, Bishop Saway, Rosalia Saway and Mary Lucia Saway; and his siblings, Greg N. Battles, Charlotte F. Norris, Regina Campbell and Karen Wesson.
In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Danny Battles may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, St. Rose Academy, and Alabama Oncology to assist cancer patients with co-pays.
