She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Johnson and Martha Catherine Johnson; her husband Norman King, Sr.; her sons, Norman King, Jr. and Ronald King; her grandson Martez Jermaine Haynes; and her siblings, Johnny Wayne Johnson, James Edward Johnson, Donald Ray Johnson, Jimmy Wayne Johnson, Lubertha Abner and Bertha Mae Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Pastor Earnest L. King (Marquetta) of Birmingham, Pamela King, Ricky King (Alfreda) of Montgomery and April Coleman (Darryl); her daughter-in-law Lawanda Hilton of Birmingham; her sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Gaynell Johnson (Willie George); and her friend Edward Hilliard of Birmingham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
