He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sims McDaniel; his children, Lee McDaniel, Ricky McDaniel, Alan McDaniel and Dewey McElwain; his adoptive daughter Denise Wright; and his siblings, Billie Ruth Crabtree and Priscilla Ann Holmes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
