We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Catherine Caldwell Cabaniss formerly of Birmingham, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son William Jelks Cabaniss, III; her husband William Jelks Cabaniss, Jr.; her daughters, Mary Cabaniss Ballard of Seattle and Frances Cabaniss Johnson (Kenny) of Mobile; her siblings, Frances Caldwell Bennett (Claude), Jean Foster Caldwell of Atlanta and Charles Shepperd Caldwell (Mary Ruth); her grandchildren, Maria Nancy Ballard, Frances Jean Ballard, Mary Steele Johnson, William Cabaniss Johnson and Kenneth Steele Johnson; her parents, Mary Catherine Hood and Charles Shepperd Caldwell, Jr.; her daughter Catherine; and her close friends, Aspen, Kennebunkport and Prague. She was also cherished by Five grandchildren and several nieces and great-nieces.
Because of Covid, a Private Service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church (3736 Montrose Road) on Monday, March 1st at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Birmingham Museum of Art would be greatly appreciated (2000 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35203).
