It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Casanna Upshaw Spiegner of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Upshaw and Winnie Upshaw; her husband Willie F. Spiegner; and her siblings, Sanganella Steward, Frankie Walker Kelly, Gertrude Brady, Ethel Cunningham, Georgia Snoddy, Bertha Upshaw, Mary Upshaw, Lula Jones, Willie "Jim" Upshaw and Monroe "Bro" Upshaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Conner Evans and Roslyn Spiegner Jones; her grandsons, Reynard Evans (Demeria) and Quinton Evans (Deborah); her great grandchildren, Renesha Evans, David Evans, Zoe Evans, Sydney Evans and Mcalla; her great great grandchild Jeremiah Johnson; her nieces, Terry Snoddy, Belinda Snoddy, Brelinda Snoddy, Janice Crittenden Janet McMillian and Geraldine Walker; and her close friends, Marilyn Johnson, Alexis Lee and Louvenia Wilkerson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
