She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Dennis E. Salley; her parents, W. L. Collins and Mamie Sue Collins; her siblings, Herb Collins and Dwight Collins; and her son-in-law Darryl Dykes.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Salley Jr. (Leanna), Lawana Salley, Lenora Beaman (Brad) and Renee Salley Dykes; her grandchildren, Katelynn Turner (Tyler), Heather DeBerry (John), Kendyl Salley (Matt), William Dykes, David Salley, Collin Salley, Rachel Dykes, Christina Beaman, Matthew Dykes and Isaac Beaman; her great grandchildren, Charlsie Turner, Jackson DeBerry, Blakely Turner and Annalae Turner; her siblings, Juanita Harris, Jerry Smith, Dr. Myron Collins, Winston Collins and Doug Collins; and her sister-in-law Jane Collins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
The family requests everyone that comes to celebrate the life of Carolyn Salley wear a mask and social distance in the sanctuary of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to International Mission Board, Good News Jail and Prison Ministry J-61, Christian Women's Job corps, and Littlemen Ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Meridian.
