He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn Kindall; his father James Edward Kindall, Sr.; and his siblings, Colona Kindall, James Edward Kindall, Jr. and Cynthia Elaine Kindall.
He is survived by: his nephew Rodger Williams; his mother Wilma Lee Jones; his sons, Calvin E. Kindall, Jr. and Starlyn Kindall (Shemeka); his grandchildren, Locquita, Torrey, Chassidy, Wade, Starlyn, Jr. and Carter; his great grandchildren, Jalen, Myles, Jr. and Mykia; his siblings, Deborah Bowen and Rev. Stanley Kindall, Sr. (Norma Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Wilson Carter, Starlyn Carter and Emma. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
