She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Virginia (Bingham) and Samuel Uriah Hardie Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" B. Carlson; her son James "Hardie" Carlson (Rossi); her grandchildren, Ingrid, Frankie and Jasper; and her brother Reverend Samuel "Sam" U. Hardie III (Virginia). She is also survived by five nieces, a nephew, five great nieces, two great nephews, and numerous other family members and friends.
