He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; and his children, Sharon Jordan, Wayne Cooke and Cathy Abramson. He is also survived by "Papa" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church (7789 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville, AL 35173). Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
