She was predeceased by: her parents, John Weir and Elizabeth Weir; her husband Robert E. Morris (Bob); her son Robert E. Morris Jr.; and her brother-in-law Lamar Rawls.

She is survived by: her sons, J. Michael Morris (Lisa), Keith B. Morris (Jen) and C. Dana Morris (Lyn); her grandchildren, Claire Morris, Cameron Morris, Jackson Morris and Delayna Morris; her sister Peggy Rawls; her nephews, Chad Rawls (Jen) and Bart Costello III; and her niece Amy Reese (Joseph). She is also survived by wife and a dedicated mother to her four boys.

In recent years, as her Alzheimer's progressed, caregivers often read scripture to her, where she found solace.
