He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Curry and Annie Louise Cannon; his significant other Ruthie Louise Ellis; his son Rev. Bill Curry, Jr.; his wife Ruthie Curry; and his siblings, David Curry, Carlene Henry and Olivia Wilson.
He is survived by: his brothers, Paul Curry (Dorothy) and Emrose Curry (Dorothy); his children, Dr. Vernessa Elaine Curry, Rosalind Faye Curry, Forrest Curry, Roland Curry (SaKeynia) and Gary Curry (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Shalisha Curry, Aaron Curry, April Curry, Kenya Carroll (Robert), Edmund Curry, Shaveh Hogan (Stephen), Roman Salery (Chelsea), Sheldon Curry (Amina), Adrienne Laguerre (Andy), Brian Salery, Brandon Curry, Janaya Curry, Amira Carter-Perkins, Azurrea Curry, Joshawa Honeycutt-Curry, Roland Curry, Jr. and Divaunie Curry. He is also survived by three great-great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Zion Memorial Gardens (501 Tarrant Huffman Rd, Birmingham, AL 35217).
