With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bettye Lou Bull Guin Edwards in Birmingham, Alabama, born in Winfield, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie R. Bull and Lillian Bull; her husbands, Ronald Gary Guin, Sr. and Louie Earl Edwards; and her daughter-in-law Beverly Guin.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Guin and Kimberly Guin Boswell (Cary); her grandsons, Brett Guin, Ashley and Clint Guin (Molly); her brother Gerald Bull (Willetta); and her great grandchildren, Ayla, Vera and Ezra.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers Bettye requested that donations be made to Beechwood Baptist Church 2695 Mt. Olive Road, Mt. Olive, Alabama 35117.
