It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Reece Johnston (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband J. Reese Johnston, Jr.; and her parents, Robert Reece and Bess Reece. She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Bahakel (John) and Anna Whitney (Ron); her grandchildren, Amanda Foshee (Doug) and Cole Bahakel (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, John and James Foshee.
