She was predeceased by: her parents, William Golson and Viola Steele Golson; and her husband Earnest Blevins Wilson (EB). She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Walton and Ernestine Wilson; her grandchildren, Earnest Zachary Walton (Felicia) and Dana Bernice Walton; her great grandchildren, Zoie Aeryn Walton and Earnest Zakai Walton; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Frances Alexander, Josephine Bradley, Shirley Lewis, Viola Bradford, Carmen Young (Vanessa), Willie F. Gamble and Lagarette Gamble. She is also survived by cousins, great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Harmony Street Baptist Church (527 42nd Pl N, Birmingham, AL 35222). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens (909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109).
