With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Pharr Hathcock (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on November 7, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Hathcock; her son Rodney Green; and her parents, Charlene Kent Pharr and Basil Pharr. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly York (Nicholas) and Timothy Harris; her siblings, David Pharr, Gary Pharr (Blythe), Brenda Richerzhagen and Donna McAlister; her grandchildren, Crystal Moore, Austin Green, Alex Green, Connor York, Clayton Harris (Shelby), Griffin Harris and Lane Osborne; and her great grandchild Walker Harris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many loyal and caring friends.
She was devoted to her family and her greatest passion was helping others in every walk of life. "As long as our sweet "Grandmama" could still lift a hand, she would lift it in kindness to someone else."
