It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Nell Sherer (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Simmons and Grace Simmons; her siblings, Joyce Deason, Carol Lokken, Wayne Simmons, Paul Simmons, Charles Simmons, Tommy Simmons and Glen Simmons; her grandson Josh Copeland; and her siblings-in-law, Carl Sherer and Frankie Sue Sherer.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Sherer; her daughters, Teri Patterson (Bobby) and Traci Copeland (Jason); her grandchildren, Diana Hatchett (Kyle), Taylor Federico (Marc), Ashley Ogletree (Michael) and Makenzie Latham; and her great grandchildren, Ellie Grace Ogletree and Amelia Gray Federico. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eastside Baptist Church.
