She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Scrutchings and Rosetta Perkins; her husband Fred Clay, Sr.; her son Fred Clay, Jr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Nix, Willie and Joseph Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Susan (Houston) of Washington, DC and Rahn Thomas (Brenda) of Johns Creek, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Ronald, Alex, Joy and Andrea. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and numerous family and friends.
