He is survived by: his daughter Tiara N. Akins; his grandson Taiden of Birmingham, AL; and his siblings, Ann Johnson (Charles) of Braselton, GA and James Jordan (Cari) of Littleton, CO.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Poole's Funeral Chapel (1501 7th Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt Hebron Baptist Church (1620 24th Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35204). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at the George Washington Carver Memorial Gardens (1020 Minor Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35224).
