She was predeceased by: her husband James H Scogin Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Dobson (Tim) and Laurie Scogin; her sister Gwenn Freeman (John) of Ocala, Florida; her grandchildren, Katy Walker (Aaron), Jimmy Dobson and Alex Dobson; and her great grandchild Atlas Walker.
She donated platelets twice per month for nearly 20 years.
