It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andre Lamar Jackson of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Andre Lamar leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Andre Lamar may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LaKeisha Spencer and Andre Crittenden; his stepfather Willie Spencer; and his grandmother Elizabeth Jackson. He is survived by: his brothers, Dominique RaShad Jackson and Aaron Moody (Amy); and his aunts, Brenda Horton (Terry) and Felecia Hurst (Wayne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church (1300 24th St N, Birmingham, AL 35234). A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Grace Hill Cemetery (1931 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
