With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alpha Longmire Wylie (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on July 8, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Wylie; her daughter Denise Bradford; her mother Annis LaBoone; her siblings, Eulyss Longmire (Shirley), Lonell Longmire and Charlotte Owens; and her close friend Herman Sims.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Higgins (Rick); her grandchildren, David Higgins (Holly), Brian Higgins (Sharla), Kristen Wilson and James Wilson; her great grandchildren, Courtney, Julianne, Zac, Grayson, Brittney, Ashlyn and Lily; her great great grandchildren, Daniel and Zayne; her nephew David Longmire; her nieces, Dana Preston and Delene Wilson; her cousins, Virginia, Glenna and Barry; and her uncle Max Knisley.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzhiemers Association or South Roebuck Baptist Church.
