She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Estelle Wright (Wood) and Ellis LaFayette Demus Wright; and her siblings, Clarence Preston Wright (Willia), Kathlene Lemerle Smith Wright (Frank) and Elma Ruth Mezick Wright (Paul).
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Gerald A. Champion; her children, Gerald A. Champion Jr., Kenneth A. Champion and Janet Champion Sapp (Bill); her son-in-law William Sapp (Bill); and her grandsons, William Heath Sapp (Emily) and Bradley Austin Sapp.
