She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wade and Effie Wade; her husband Charles; and her daughter Suzanne. She is survived by: her children, Reed (Joyce), Nelson (Brigitte) and Wanda (Chris); and her son-in-law Anthony. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
