He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Shelton and Evelena Maye Hines; and his siblings, Shirley Hines, Bennett Hines Jr., James Ross Hines, Carolyn Jean Hines, Andrew Billy Hines, Denver Charles Hines, Mary Alice Hines, Sharon Hines, Valentina Duckett, Malinda Roberts and Veronica Biffle.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Macklin, Aldarion Tidmore, Sylvia Santiago, Richard Santiago, Rachel Gillespie and Ashley Dickerson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
