It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Vasser Thomas (Billingsley, Alabama), born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on November 13, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Lester Vasser and Portice White Vasser; her husband John Amos Thomas; and her sisters, Dorothy Ann Hoggle and Joyce Warren.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Carl Thomas (Linda), Johnny Allen Thomas, Carol Thomas Kelley (Johnny), Pamela Thomas Shepard (Sam), Melissa Thomas Lankford (Mike) and Vicki Thomas Wilson (Keith); and her brother Dennis Lester Vasser, Jr.. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
