He is survived by: his wife Debbie Mims of Clanton; his son Rocky Lane Mims (Angie) of Clanton; his granddaughter Brittany Mims of Clanton; his siblings, James Mims of Verbena, Clara Edwards of Verbena, Billy Joe Mims of Prattville, Alice Christie of Wetumpka and Sarah Darden of Billingsley; his aunt Geraldine Anders of Billingsley; his cousin Howard Harrison of Billingsley; and his nephew Acie Edwards, Jr. of Verbena.
The family request no flowers, but suggest contributions be made towards the funeral expenses at the funeral home.
