He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, William Herbert Meeks, Donetta Jean Fuentes, Tambra Lynn Wilcox and Donald Ray Meeks, Jr.; and his sisters, Judy of Mary and May. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
