It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Jean Cox of Billingsley, Alabama, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Reedie Adams; her husband Aubrey Wayne Cox; her siblings, Reedie Adams, Jr. and Ruth Parmer; her mother Leona Holcombe Adams; and her granddaughter Samantha Layne Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Karen C Payton (Tony), Darren Cox (Theresa) and Tammy Smith; her grandchildren, Miranda Roper, Melissa Roper, Garrett Payton, Brady Cox, Gavin Payton and Madison Smith; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Rhett, Skyler, Destiny, Dez, Micah and Madeline; and her siblings, Gerald Adams (JoAnn) and Ruby Baker.
