She was predeceased by: her father Reedie Adams; her husband Aubrey Wayne Cox; her siblings, Reedie Adams, Jr. and Ruth Parmer; her mother Leona Holcombe Adams; and her granddaughter Samantha Layne Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Karen C Payton (Tony), Darren Cox (Theresa) and Tammy Smith; her grandchildren, Miranda Roper, Melissa Roper, Garrett Payton, Brady Cox, Gavin Payton and Madison Smith; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Rhett, Skyler, Destiny, Dez, Micah and Madeline; and her siblings, Gerald Adams (JoAnn) and Ruby Baker.
