He was predeceased by: his parents, Doctor Tom and Estella Bonds Lawson; his siblings, Mable "Nudie" Standridge (Warren) and Larry Lawson; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Fortner, Vernon Stephens, Jr. and Ed Bopp.
He is survived by: his wife Fleta Elvira Drake Lawson; his children, Lea Anne, Mark Warren and Todd Alan Lawson; his grandchildren, Garrett Lawson Warren and Lillee Mae Warren; and his siblings, Shirley Greene, Margie Fortner Stephens, Malanda Bopp, Flo Ann Kinney (Jeff), Thomas Lawson, Randy Lawson (Janet), Keith Lawson (Darlene) and Jeff Lawson (Robbie).
