He was predeceased by: his son Warren Sanders; his parents, Euwell Sanders and Kathleen Sanders; and his siblings, Jimmy Sanders and Janie Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Drake Helton (Bonnie); and his children, James Sanders, Henry Helton, Benny Helton (Donna), John Sanders (Valerie), Angela Duncan (Eugene) and Bethany Sanders. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; an aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends.
In lieu of flowers James said feed the hungry.
